They kidnapped Eduardo Borrero in Merida

Eduardo Borrero, former coach of the Venezuelan national team and technical director of El Vigía FC, was kidnapped on Sunday in the mentioned city of Mérida.

Wilmer Ramírez, a sports journalist, said that the circumstances in which the abduction took place had not yet been clarified. However, he assured that the offenders require $ 700 for their release, he stressed AS.

Witnesses of the incident said that many individuals were threatened with long weapons in the bakery in order to kidnap him. The current state of the coach is unknown.

Borrero was in charge of Vinotinto from 1998 to 1998. He currently serves as the technical director of El Vigía FC of the second division of Venezuelan football.
