On Friday, Ernesto Villegas, Minister of Culture, sentenced him to interrupt the presentation of Venezuelan singer Gualberto Ibarreto in Spain because he was treated close to the government by Nicolás Madura.

"The mentioned activity is abolished because of the possible proximity of the artist to the Chavist regime, which is still preserved in Venezuela," said the Cumac Cultural Society of Venezuelan Music, which organized the event.

Ibarreto planned a presentation on Tenerife on March 31st. Villegas refused to cancel the singer's activity in Spain; He stressed that persecution is being carried out against Venezuelan artists.

Ibarreto received support from the state to address their health problems.

Similarly, Colombia banned the entry of Venezuelan singer Omar Enrique because she was associated with Maduro.
