The first folding handset Samsung had a soft start a few days ago and the phone was supposed to reach the store at a certain point in the first half of 2019. The Galaxy F (picture above) may not be the phone for everyone, especially given its high price level, but the handset Samsung's most ambitious and exciting smartphone project to date. And this phone will have serious competition next year, including a device that you probably will not find in a US store.
The Huawei folding phone, which has no rumors about its commercial name, has already shown to mobile operators in Korea, ETNews explains.
The device should start with the support of 5G on board. Therefore, Huawei allegedly revealed this to Korean carriers, which are expected to launch their 5G network next year. Samsung manufactures the 5G version of Galaxy S10 for the same market, though the Galaxy F does not support 5G.
The Huawei phone was more complete than expected, said a senior official ETNews, although they could not reveal too many phone specifications.
The phone must be presented at the MWC at the end of February, and then launched in June in various markets, including Korea. The price for the handset was not announced.
The report says that the phone will display two screens, including an 8 inch internal display and a 5-inch external display. It looks like a similar model to the Samsung Galaxy F, and Huawei will be even more foldable – the Galaxy F has a 4.6-inch and 7.3-inch screen. Huawei has previously assembled that a foldable handset can replace the computer in the future.
The report also notes that the Chinese BOE screen manufacturer will create a fold-down display of the handset, the details that were previously listed in the Huawei folders.
