Perhaps the end of one of the big worries is when you fly – getting a terrible center seat.
The innovative design that changes the game has just been approved by the US Civil Aviation Authority, the Federal Aviation Administration.
Typical with three seats, called "S1", is arranged and the middle seat is slightly lower and placed back. The middle seat gets armrests, so there are no longer battles with elbows with travelers. Another bonus is that it is three centimeters (7.6 cm) larger than its neighbors.
The seat was designed by Molon Labe Seating and founder Hank Scott Fast Company that there is a real difference.
* Five ways for more legroom when you are flying in economy class
* Business class is improving while the economy feels distressed
* A new center seat that is better than a window or a passage
"The trick is to actually sit at the headquarters. Our main sales tool is to transport seats to airlines so that they can sit in them.
"I've seen this repeatedly – the airline's management sees the seat, the poker head with the head and then says to get it. Then we ask them to actually sit next to a big boy like our sales manager Thomas (198cm, 113kg). Within seconds they get it (really) – they cease to be leaders in the airline and switch to passenger routes. "
The company has developed seats for more than five years and is designed for short flights. Molon Labe also developed seats for long-haul flights.
On the FAA approval news, an unnamed US airline has already issued an order.
