The Arab League today expressed its hope that the people of Sudan will agree on what is in the interest of the country and call for respect for the dialogue.
This was in a statement issued by the League of Arab States about events in Sudan, where the university said it would not endeavor to support achieving the desired consensus, as required in previous stages. "The various development and political issues of Sudan have been a priority on the agenda of common Arab measures," she said in a statement. "The Arab League will continue to be interested in promoting peace, stability and development in Sudan from the decisions of the various Arab summits issued in this regard, and from its duty and responsibility to this large and central state in the Arab world."
