The United Nations Red Crescent Society of the United Nations continued to distribute humanitarian aid and help people on the west coast of Yemen to increase the capacity of families unable to cope with the current humanitarian situation.
In this context, the Authority has distributed 35 tonnes of food and raw materials to the most needed families in Al-Fayze, Deir Abdullah, Al-Nakheel, Namsheh, Al-Hawarith, Hamediyah, Dokhan, Darihami, Al-Nukha and remote areas along the west coast.
More than 15,000 Yemen benefited from assistance, mostly children, women and the elderly.
The Commission also continued its efforts to review health cases in Yemen's families in remote areas of the West Bank and provided treatment services through a mobile medical clinic.
Said Saeed Al-Qaabi, director of humanitarian operations in Yemen, said that the constant distribution of food aid and the implementation of development projects and services in the Yemeni arena included support to the United Nations support for brothers and in the framework of a humanitarian program developed by the administration United Nations for the Red Pen to meet the needs of Yemen's families in the coastal areas of West of Yemen in a number of key areas, such as food, medicine and emergency supplies.
The beneficiary families thanked the United Arab Union for their continued support for Yemeni people and expressed appreciation in this respect of the efforts of the Roma Roma Association.
