The 25-year-old hiker was injured when he came from the Spicak lookout tower


The tourist damaged her ankle from the lookout tower.

On Sunday afternoon, the rescuers of the Regional Rescue Center (OS CES), Malá Fatra, assisted a 25-year-old Slovak tourist who injured his ankle when he walked from the Špicák to Stresna tower. He shall inform the firefighter on his website.

"During a steep terrain, she fell and damaged her ankle so she could not continue herself. Mountain rescue workers arrived on a forest road on the terrain of the accident and provided a wounded woman with emergency medical care. After treatment, fixation of the limb and drug treatment, a land vehicle was transported to a hospital in Žilina, "she added.
