SINGAPORE – The number of children who found adopters last year was the highest in nearly a decade, as more couples suffer from fertility problems and are becoming more open to adoption, said those who work with adoptive parents.
Last year there were 432 applications for adoption, according to preliminary data from the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). This is 15 percent more than 375 in 2017.
