Vitamin D deficiency is a common phenomenon associated with the development of a dangerous disease. It is a softening of the bone – osteomalacia, when the strength of bone tissue is reduced due to insufficient mineralization. This, as reported by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, said British doctors.
So, in the case of a lack of this vitamin in the body, a person often feels excruciating pain, especially when pressing on the bones, in the lower back, pelvis, ribs. The discomfort is worse at night.
According to experts, vitamin D deficiency can cause muscle pain without physical exertion, depression and a constant feeling of fatigue. A person is also often ill – prone to colds, flu and other infections.
You can get the vitamin by including chicken eggs, cheese, fatty fish, including herring (it is not recommended to eat often because of the large amount of salt), cod liver, or sweets in your diet.
At the same time, experts emphasize that it is necessary to consult a doctor before taking vitamins and other medications.
