Zbigniew Grycan, the creator of the Grycan brand, announced that the company will close points in shopping centers. Currently, he is looking for other distribution channels in retail chains, as the trading ban on Sunday had a negative impact on the company's results – states Business Insider Polska.
Although, as provided by company representatives, Grycan's rooms are quite good compared to other hotel establishments in shopping centers, but they can not earn a lot of points.
– We have a much lower turnover and we have to defend ourselves enough to be hired – Grycan said in an interview with ISBnews.tv. – We are struggling for the company to not undo people and not restructure because we have excellent employees. We are trying to give them other jobs. On Sundays we employed a lot of students. Unfortunately, we are not being accepted for work now – he stressed.
– We are committed to contracts, but when their deadlines will end, we will close points in shopping centers. Two are already closed – said Zbigniew Grycan.
The brand Grycan – Ice Cream generations has been present on the Polish market since 2004. In 15 years of existence, the company has developed the largest family of ice cream and cafes, not only in Poland, but also in Europe. Currently it has more than 150 rooms. Due to the ban on Sunday trading, which is expected to hit large foreign trade networks, the Polish family company must shut down its restaurants. Did the creators of the law think that?
