Omar Khirir and Abdenbi Bioui leave silence after conviction

The Criminal Investigation Department in Fes on Wednesday sentenced Omar Hjira and Abdenbi Bioui to prison terms. The accusations against them are embezzlement and forgery.

Thus, Istiqlalien president of Oujda Omar Hijra was sentenced to two years in prison. As regards the president of the PAM of the Oriental region, Abdenba Bioui, he was sentenced to one year in prison.

According to our information, the judgment of the Court of Financial Crimes in Fez was based on the reports of the Court of Auditors on several transactions and suspicious transactions carried out in various sectors in Oujda between 2006 and 2009.

Omar Hjira, in a post on Facebook, said he was silent "out of respect for the lawsuit that has not yet been completed". Silence "does not mean to confirm the judgment," he said.

She used her to thank her supporters, and promised them that "they would explain the roles and the results of this file in a timely manner".

Abdenbi Bioui said he never commented on court decisions.

It should be noted that after the conviction they decided to seize the Court of Cassation.

Others, including company directors and entrepreneurs, were also accused of the same case of embezzlement and fraud.

It should be noted that Omar Hjira and Abdenbi Bioui and 15 other defendants were granted a court of first instance in November 2017. However, the public prosecutor's office appealed on the basis of the aforementioned reports of the Court of Auditors.
