The Smach Z is a handheld mini PC that is incredibly ambitious. Maybe a bit also ambitious. Since 2014, it has kicked in one form or another, and the current repetition is a multi-player device that will allow you to play modern computer games in a reasonable amount of time, in a PDA that is an effective Steam controller with a PC that is built in it. This is a promise, but one that I can hardly believe.
I had to see the device on E3 and it was very far from being prepared for a great time. The mold was bad, nothing was really combined and the device w3asnt even a production prototype. She was running in a shell with everything that was connected to her from a connected laptop. A further look at the thing and it seems that the entire campaign to fund the crowd was built on the bed of lies. Now, after countless delays (the last date of the ship was listed as the previous month, but this obviously did not happen), the company says it will return this in the next year.
The company sent a press release confirming the delivery envisaged, along with two promotional videos that would work on the prototype hardware.
"The SMACH Z team confirms that suppliers are already in the production and delivery of components. Mass production of SMACH Z, a device that promises to revolutionize the world of gambling, will be planned for Q1 in 2019.
After two years of development, the device is ready to market with a 6-inch high-resolution screen and hardware based on AMD Ryzen Embedded and AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics. "
Given the many red flags with the development of systems, I will not be sure until I actually have it in my hands. It's available for pre-ordering on Smach Z, but I can not recommend anyone doing this.
