Queensland sent 10,000 vials of the vaccine before the introduction

On Monday, 100 Queenslanders will participate in the first phase of the Pfizer vaccine at Gold Coast University Hospital. About 5,000 vials have been sent to Cairns, where there will be two vaccination sites in the far north of Queensland, and another 5,000 have been lowered to the south-east coast to be divided between four vaccination sites. Queensland Chief Medical Officer Jeannette Young said she would be in line to receive the vaccine.
