Harris understands that he is still considering the request of a prospective newcomer who has voluntarily disclosed family links to the international crime organization during the verification process.
However, senior intelligence officers at the Garda Department of Crime and Security have raised serious concerns about recruiting someone who has any family relationship with a criminal organization led by Daniel Kinahan.
Mr Harris was warned that recruiting an individual would pose a great risk to the forces and leave him open to threats of a brutal cartel.
Gardai is convinced that the complainant has no involvement in the organization or any criminal act, but is afraid that it could be attacked by criminals looking for sensitive information about Garda about them and about rival articles.
It is understood that the complainant said that he had not been in contact with a family member who had been linked to the billion-dollar empire for the drug of Cinchan for several years and insisted he had no intention to talk to them in the future.
The local guards who are considering the application should support his candidacy and be impressed by his employment record.
"You can not decide who your extended family is, so it would be a little hard to refuse the application on this basis," said a senior source.
"For many years I have not spoken to my family member and said he did not intend to contact them."
However, the source confirmed that there are "real concerns" between intelligence officers regarding the hiring of all those associated with a dangerous individual, such as Daniel Kinahan.
Internal concern about the use follows the blood-spilling years resulting from the war gang between members of the Canton cartel and the Hutch family.
So far, 18 people have been murdered during a rage, which has risen after the infamous attack of the Regency Hotel gun in Dublin.
Vendeto triggered the murder of Gary Hutch, shot in September 2015 in a residential block near Marbella. Hutch was the nephew of the criminal Gerry "The Monk" Hutch.
The Chinese empire of crime was set up by Christy Kinahan Senior, who has since sat down to allow his son Daniel a control over drug trafficking. Daniel and his brother Christy Junior are based in Dubai.
Christy Senior was jailed for six years for drug trafficking in the 1980s and, at the end of the 1990s, he spent four years in prison after being discovered in his own 16,000 pounds. While he was imprisoned, he studied for two levels and learned to speak Spanish and Russian.
In 2010, Spanish police in the Spanish House in Spain attacked the home in the context of a major international investigation into the group, but no charges were ever brought against them.
He is believed to have accumulated enormous wealth for drug trafficking and the provision of money laundering services to other criminals.
The dangerous reputation of the Chinese and the impact on international crime are a key concern among the gardens that warned of hiring a new employee who has family ties with a gang.
Anyone can apply to the Garda Siochan via the online portal on the Public Appointment Service website. They must then conduct a supervised online test, followed by a written examination.
All applicants in the kindergarten must describe in detail all links to offenses when they apply to join forces.
They are then checked to determine whether they are eligible candidates to be sent to the Gardmore School of Education in Templemore.
If the candidate does not expose potentially compromised family relationships, they automatically disqualify themselves to join the Garda.
However, in this case, the applicant voluntarily told the elderly guards about his family ties with the Kinahan cartel, and his request is still pending.
A spokesman for Garde said: "For reasons of privacy, An Garda Siochana does not comment on individuals who apply to join An Garda Siochana."
