Former ruling Socialist politicians have criticized left-wing parties. Katalin Szili told the conference in Budapest that he was convinced that the left was unchanged. According to the Prime Minister, the crisis is on the left, also due to the lack of uniform and contradictory principles.

By setting a common list of left-wing parties in the 2014 election, more than 26 percent of the votes were won. Four years later they lost their popularity again. The support of the MSZP and Democratic Coalition Dialogue, together with 17 per cent, has barely exceeded.

The fall of the left began long ago – said Katalin Szili, former deputy chairman of the MSES, at a conference on the situation of left-wing parties. In view of the Prime Minister's current term of office, socialists on the slopes of 2004 began to reject a referendum on dual citizenship, which was ultimately unsuccessful. The former speaker said that the left-wing crisis is also the reason why it does not represent uniform and contradictory principles.

According to the head of the View Institute, MSZP and DK are poorly responding to migration, and new groups have been discouraged from them. According to Sámuél Ágoston, Mráza, left-wing parties in Hungary can not participate in a political contest against the ruling parties.
