The key short-term achievements of the last few months reviewed by the Committee have been classified into eight categories: establishment of a company, obtaining credits, cross-border trading, paying taxes, building permitting, real estate registration, contract enforcement and electricity generation.

In the continuation, Prime Minister Abiy assigned to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Innovation and Technology on the basis of rotation the chairmanship of the National Committee "Doing Business" in order to promote the implementation of established medium and long-term priorities.

He also announced that a new committee at national level will soon be launched to direct progress in creating jobs and investments in the etiopian year 2012, starting in September 2019, synchronized with the Doing Business Committee.

Creating a favorable business environment for private sector investment is a key pillar in creating three million jobs in the new year, the Prime Minister wrote.
