LG users access the Future TV with the first OLED
With the incredible design and integration of ThinQ AI and the Alpha 9 Gen 2 processor, the brand identifies a whole new way of watching television.
LAS VEGAS, January 2019 – LG Electronics (LG) defines the next generation of TVs at CES 2019 with the launch of the world's first OLED television. The LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R (65R9 model) redefines the concept of television in a variable format, which is possible only because of the leading OLED technology in the industry. This impressive LG product is more than a demonstration of engineering power and offers unmatched picture and sound quality, all in one form, giving users an endless opportunity to create a perfect viewing space.
Since the beginning of the modern era, the size of television screens has steadily increased, as the resolution has improved, and consumers have demanded a more in-depth viewing experience. The solution to this challenge came in the form of a large black rectangle that had an important space in space, especially when the TV was not in use. Even the most advanced televisions with projections would never offer contrasts or deep blacks that consumers demand. In an effort to make the big TVs less spacious, manufacturers are trying to create even thinner screens, with an emphasis on developing the most discrete possible models.
By launching LG's LG SIGNATURE OLED TV W last year, LG eliminated the traditional television concept and focused on the simplicity of the screen. Renamed as TV, LG has shown that TV can simultaneously offer performance, subtlety and beauty. LG's latest efforts are reaching this achievement to an entirely new level. LG has created a television with a screen that appears and disappears a magical, revolutionary innovation that seems to be defying the logic. "R" in the new LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R tries to create a revolution in home entertainment and redefine the space with its ability to get up and rising with the push of a button.
OLED TV with Roll is a real element of change that frees users from limiting the wall so they maintain their personal space and do not need to use it just to watch TV. The fact that LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R can be reformatted to offer three different display options (Full View, Line View and Zero View) allows users to use television in ways that could not be performed before OLED technology development.
The full view offers a lot of experience in viewing the screen, which reveals the size of contrast, depth and realism that have become synonymous with all LG televisions. The extraordinary quality of image and sound of artificial intelligence, powered by second-generation intelligent algorithm α (Alpha) 9 and LG's deep learning algorithm, sets the television to a very high standard. Users can use their voice to do things with Amazon Alexa, a new addition to LG Artificial Intelligence TV in 2019, as well as support for Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. With AirPlay 2 support, users can easily play videos from iTunes and other video, music and photo applications directly from their Apple devices to their LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R. With Apple HomeKit support, users can control their LG TV using Home or ask Siri.
Line View allows LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R to be partially unrolled, enabling you to manage certain tasks that do not require a complete TV screen. With this format, users can choose between features such as clock, frame, mood, music, and home panel. To view time and weather or even the Frame mode, you can use Clock mode to enjoy family photos that are shared from a smartphone or Mood mode to create a more relaxed environment.
When you are in Zero View mode, the 65-inch LG SIGNATURE OLED TV R is hidden from the view hidden in the base. Even in Zero View, users can enjoy music and other audio content originating from the Dolby Atmos 4.1-channel audio system and 100W playback. Superior quality is visible throughout the unit, from a chassis made of brushed aluminum to a high-quality woolen speaker cover designed by the Danish Square.
Visitors to the LG stand at CES 2019 (LVCC Central Hall # 11100), which will run from 8 to 11 January, will be able to watch the new LG SIGNATURE OLED TV with their own eyes.
