Edmonton's police are investigating the robbery of the armored guard on the bank in northeast Edmonton.
This happened around 2 am on Thursday. The Scotiabank branch in the area of 160 Avenue and 82 streets blocked the police bar when police investigated the robbery.
The police did not publish additional information in a press release issued shortly after 7.30, but the GardaWorld armored vehicle could be seen parked outside the bank.
A person in an EOD clothing or a blazer suit can be seen when examining a vehicle and a bank.
The police would not say how many people were involved or if someone was in custody.
Calls to the police were not returned on Thursday morning.
Global News has a crew on the arena and will provide more details when it's available.
It's still coming …
