The App Store for jailbroken devices, Cydia Store, officially off

After many years when users are available as a way to fully customize the operating system, Cydia Store (which was available only for overlapping devices) switched off today.

Saurik, the creator of Cydia, announced a Reddit error Friday night. He said that this was a long time when the store gave little money. There has recently been an error in the store that could jeopardize users.

The reality is that I wanted to close the Cydia Store before the end of the year and think about moving the timetable after receiving the report (until this weekend); this service loses my money and it's not something I have any passion for maintenance.

Needless to say, it sounds like the maintenance costs of Cydia Store are not worth the trouble with the fact that they no longer want to maintain it. Currently, purchases at Cydia are currently disabled, which means users can no longer buy items from Cydia Store.

Saurik says a more formal job will come next week with additional details about the future of Cydia Store.

To be clear, Cydia will still be around, but the last part of payments (in main landfills) will no longer be used. You will still be able to download past purchases and make purchases in third party landfills.

Did you hijack your device in the past? Are you sad about the fact that Cydia Store will soon be withdrawn? Please let us know in the comments below!
