Shooting is sent to the hospital

On Friday night shooting at the Mud Bay Park area in Surrey sent two people to the hospital, the RCMP confirmed.

Soon after 19:00. police visited the park and found evidence of shots. Then they responded to a call from the nearby 17300 Block 56 Avenue for a person who suffered from a gunshot wound.

At 19:20, another man with a gunshot wounded was admitted to the Langley Memorial Hospital, and the police found this to be related to the Mud Bay Park incident.

The investigation was undertaken by the Surrey Crimes Department, which is in its early stages. They say it is too early to say whether these events are related to others in the Lower Inland section.
