One person is in custody after the police responded to fire reports of the old Strathcona fire on Friday night.

In addition to Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, the Edmonton police responded to calls from Whyte Avenue and 104 Street, near Next Act, soon after 9am.

Staff Sgt. Bev Wolfert said that more than twelve were attacked by an individual before the witnesses took him to the ground and arrested the citizens.

Wolfert said that the individual was driving tire tires. Many vehicles in this area have damaged front and rear wheel drums.

No one was hurt.
