The media are invited to attend the exhibitions of a specially designed Peanuts art installation from the Houston Space Center in Talon Park (under the astronaut training T-38) with the Snoopy sign present.

Apollo 10 was the fourth human mission in the Apollo program, the second being the orbit after the Moon. Beginning on May 18, 1969, he served as a "general exercise" for the first port of the Moon, testing all components and procedures, which enabled the Apollo 11 landing two months later.

The Apollo command module used Charan Brown's call sign, while the lunar module was named after his dog and assistant Snoopy. The association led to a ten-year recognition for employees who made an important contribution to space flight safety, as Silver Snoopy Award.

NASA and Peanuts Worldwide reunite strengths to engage in educational activities that share enthusiasm over science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) with a new generation of researchers and thinkers. Cooperation formalized by the Space Act gives the opportunity to update the Snoopy Charles M. Schulz sign for space thematic programming with the contents of NASA's deep missions for space exploration, 50 years after the start of the Apollo period.

Activities at the Houston Space Center start on Thursday morning and will include the launch of the Peanuts Global art collection, the discovery of the "Heaven and Earth" art installation that includes a retired International Space Station Training Course (ISS), wrapped in the original Charlie Motiv Brown and Snoopy was created by renowned artist Kenny Scharf.
