The new Apple TV has been shown during an Apple media event in San Francisco, September 9, 2015.
Apple was associated with 34 different productions, according to Goldman Sachs, and we will get our first reviews of this content on Monday. Apple has reportedly invited many Hollywood celebrities to attend the show, including Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, and breaks billions of dollars a year on video content.
This content will be part of the new digital television strategy, the CNBC reported in October. Apple plans to combine its original performances that it will offer free of charge, in addition to subscription channels from services such as HBO and Starz, which users can purchase individually or order a discount package.
This would mean a significant reduction in Apple's big ambitions over the last decade. In Issacson's biography, Jobs sounded like Apple would build a magic television instead of a market for channels.
"I would like to create an integrated television receiver that is quite easy to use," Jobs said. "It would be flawlessly synchronized with all of your devices and with iCloud," and it would have "the simplest user interface you can imagine."
The prototype of the Apple TV labs contained a high-resolution display, web-videoconferencing cameras and a streaming television service, separate from the cable.
Apple TV rumors have affected Apple's stock. Carl Icahn wrote letters in 2015 to invest in the company because he expected Apple to release a new television in the near future, but Apple has already postponed these plans according to the Wall Street Journal plans.
Instead of a TV set, Apple will play Apple TV on iPhones, iPads and Apple TV. Apple also showed that it is ready to distribute the video to third party gadgets. In January, Apple joined Samsung to transfer the iTunes videotape to smartphones Samsung, for example.
