A serious collision involving a transit bus, a pedestrian in Burnaby – BC

The woman suffered serious injuries after being struck on Thursday night and pinned under the Coast Mountain bus in Burnaby.

This happened about 7 hours. on 6th and 16th avenues.

CPR was performed on women at the site of the site, but it is not known whether the patient survived.

The Burnaby RCMP's general duty, the investigation of traffic offenses and the analysis of collision analysts were called upon to investigate.

TransLink confirmed that his bus was involved in a pedestrian collision on Thursday, but said that he did not have additional data to share.

"At this moment, we do not have complete details about the circumstances of the incident, and since this is now a ongoing police investigation, all investigations should be directed at Burnaby RCMP," the representative said in an e-mail.

The traffic was closed on the 6th street between the 15th and 17th avenues, and the drivers were asked to evacuate the area.
