Justice issued a pre-trial sentence to Víctor Gómezu, a driver of Ahumada, who lost control of the unit on December 23, pushed and overturned the route 7, causing the deaths of three passengers traveling from Santiago to Mendoza.
However, the judge, Sebastián Sarmiento, granted the benefit of house arrest under a two million peso as requested by the defense.
