The Senate yesterday passed a law requiring all Argentines to submit a vaccination certificate on a daily basis in order to process or extend the identity card, passport, driving license, residence or takeover permit. The Regulation, which complements Law 22.909, which has been in force since 1983, is derived from the Tucumán Legislation Project Pablo Yedlin.

Up until now, the requirement was that the vaccines were updated only for children, and their certificates were enrolled in schools. However, now with the change, adults will, according to their age, need a document to carry out these procedures. The amendment to the law also provides for the vaccination award and its tax exemption. "The state must ensure the purchase of vaccines and supplies," says the text.

It was also found that the document to be presented will be so-called Single Vaccination Card (CUV), in which the record of compulsory vaccination should be kept and access to vaccines for the population should be created. The card is issued by agencies authorized to use vaccines, such as hospitals (public and private) and pharmacies. Family allowances and examinations will also need to be processed. The law among many things explains that "failure to take into account the established presentation will not be an obstacle to the prosecution of the proceedings".

As explained, adults will apply for the use of hepatitis B and adult double bacteria. Those born after 1965 include triple viral (measles, mumps, and rubella). Those who exceed this age must be given anti-inflammatory and pneumococcal.

Among other changes, the new legislation stipulates that adults and guardians of minors will be responsible for their vaccination, and in case of non-compliance they will "create acts of the appropriate competent authority for the protection of jurisdiction".

Among other concerns the law states that the absence of work is justified on the day the vaccine is used, with the prior approval of the employer and the provision of evidence. It is also planned to create a national register of the digitally vaccinated population, where data on vaccination of all population of the country will be stored and was established on August 26 each year as national vaccination day.
