We have collected four packs containing 4 kg of ephedrine (crystal meth) with a street value of R2.2m. The packages were handed over to members of the SAPS Directorate for Priority Crimes Investigation (Hawks).

The e-mail center at OR Tambo also found an ephedrine shipment of 630 000 R6. A parcel weighing 2.8 kg will also be surrendered to the police for further investigation.
